One of the most difficult areas to master in hair transplant surgery is the "art of the hairline." We've come a long way from transplanting 'plugs' or tufts of hair, but recreating a natural, undetectable hairline is still extremely challenging. For me, designing a hairline is exciting because every hairline is different, every patient is different--the hairline is where 90% of my effort goes each and every day.
